How We Clean Wet Carpet
The key to cleaning the wet carpet is to dry the carpet first. It is very important to ensure the carpet, as well as the carpet underlay and subfloor and structure, is dried first to industry IICRC standards first before any cleaning takes place.
Only when the wet carpet, structure etc is tried first, can we then proceed to clean the carpet? At which point we will apply a carpet pre-spray and use our normal hot water extraction method to clean any watermarks out of the carpet.
It is typical especially with wool carpet that you may get some browning stains. This can be removed using a browning removing chemical.
