    FAQ's

My carper smells, what can I do?

Drying of wet carpet is crucial to avoiding or bringing down the smell.

We can provide water extraction, equipment drying, and a post dry-down carpet clean to remove the smell and bring the carpet back to a pre-event condition.

I've just had a leak, and I have wet carpet. What can I do?

Quick response is crucial to keeping damages down.

Give us a call, and we can be on site promptly. In the meantime, if you have a wet/dry vacuum or are able to hire one from somewhere, you can extract water from the carpet and dump it into a drain. Continue doing this until you are unable to withdraw any more water. This will dramatically reduce the time needed to dry the carpet.

We can also provide this service for you, call us now on 1300 077 983 to arrange a site attendance.

Can I just air dry the carpet

In a small number of instances this may be the case, especially if the wet area is small.

However, if these areas are large or deeply saturated, it is very unlikely that ambient air will be able to dry the multiple layers within the carpet and the underlay & subfloor underneath. It may feel dry to the touch, but the layers underneath may still be wet. If this is the case, you will start to smell. If your carpet has begun to smell, or if you’ve just had a water inundation to your carpet, give us a call now 1300 077 983.

    Is wet carpet dangerous

Sitting water on carpet may incur health risks.

Depending on the type of water, there are varying contamination risks. This is especially relevant when dealing with stormwater that was run along the ground before coming in, or water from a sewage leak. If you require assistance with this, give us a call to keep you safe, and get your property dry!

    How does billing work?

This depends on if it’s an insurance claim or a private job.

For insurance claims, we are able to bill insurance directly, but for private jobs, we accept credit cards, direct deposits, or cheques.

For most jobs, we are happy to accept payment after job completion and will provide a completed invoice after confirmation of payment.
